The availability of early childhood education is vital to our community’s economic recovery! To support YOU, our community of early childhood education providers, as you plan to Sustain, Rebuild & Reinvent your programs, Alliance for Kids, in partnership with the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, is launching a NEW local grant opportunity. Early childhood education (ECE) programs and family child care homes (FCCHs), which meet the eligibility criteria and in the order in which applications are received, will be funded until funding is no longer available. This grant is to reimburse personnel and operational costs due to COVID-19 from March 10th – November 30th.
FUNDING AWARDS for Sustain, Rebuild & Reinvent
Early Childhood Education Programs Grant
- Up to $11,000: Large early childhood education (ECE) programs (four or more classrooms) with a successful grant proposal may be awarded up to $11,000 to reimburse personnel and operational costs due to COVID-19 from March 10th to November 30th.
- Up to $7,500: Small ECE programs (less than four classrooms) with a successful grant proposal may be awarded up to $7,500 to reimburse personnel and operational costs due to COVID-19 from March 10th to November 30th.
- Up to $3,500: Family Child Care Homes (FCCHs) with a successful grant proposal can be awarded up to $3,500 to reimburse personnel and operational costs due to COVID-19 from March 10th to November 30th.
Deadline to apply is November 24th. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis until local funding is used in full.
